What others have to say:
“...I truly don't think the staff realizes what a gem they have for a media specialist!.”
Jennifer Vanslander Hallman Elementary Vice Principal
I just wanted to drop you a note to express thanks for all you are
doing at Harritt and WSLA to help the children of Salem succeed.
Your bright introduction in the library, left me thankful for such
you being a part of Zechariah's life.”
Drew Hinds Harritt Elementary Parent
I've never worked in a school where the kids loved going to the library as one of their specials. Diana does such a great job with the students. Being a librarian and teaching all the kids in the school can be an overwhelming job. Diana has a plan for my kids when they go in. She's taught them about character, setting, problem and solution. She's taught them about fiction and non-fiction and much more. What she does during the times she has my students is such a support for me because these are exactly the things I do in class. My students respect her because she gives them structure and has high expectations for them.

I wanted to thank you for being great at your job. I appreciate your in depth knowledge of the books and your awareness of the individual interests of our kids. We are fortunate to have you at school, thank you again for your commitment to all of our kids!
